TCAT STUDENTS

We exist to help the next generation:
- Own their faith
- Stay connected
- Be vibrant
- Make a difference

We want every TCAT student to accomplish 4 things:

 1. Truly own their faith and live it out daily.

 2. To stay connected with a local church wherever their journey in life takes them.

3. Be vibrant, life-giving, positive influences to their friends and peers.

4. Make a difference in the world around them.

This is our theme verse for TCAT Students:
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12

Students are in their formative years and during the time from middle school to high school, change occurs rapidly. Each age group has unique needs and learns in a completely different way. We cater to each age group specifically.

Middle School

Fun. Games. Large Group Activities.

Middle schoolers for the most part need short impactful messages followed by a discussion of what was just covered with a lot of fun, quirky, and chaotic features woven throughout a typical “youth group” setting. The approach that we take with middle school is to simply love them where they are and make sure that they know we truly care about them and want God’s best for them in their life! We build the relational equity to encourage and correct our students and help lead them to a better relationship with Jesus.

High School

Digging Deeper. Community. Small Groups.

High schoolers have begun reasoning for themselves and need environments and relationships where they can process. Our high school ministry approach is to create environments with more emphasis on small groups where we can discuss different topics and encourage students to start thinking for themselves spiritually. It is important that we are there for them and ready to point them in the right direction when things reach gray areas or get fuzzy and abstract in their minds. Structure and consistency is a major key to high school ministry. Your high schooler needs to know what to expect and when to expect it - not only because of their stage of life, but also because of their ever increasingly complicated schedules.

We want to help your high schooler own their faith so they can carry it with them beyond high school and lead their friends with their influence. Every student needs the local church. Our goal is to help your student fall in love with being part of it.
